This month's theme is - Anything from the new 2018/2019 Catalogue.
Enjoy!
Welcome to Stampin' at The Maples! I have had some fun with many of the new products from the 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue, there are so many beautiful things in there that I can't wait to try out. Today I'd love to share with you what I have created with some of them.
I decorated a Copper Tea Tin (page 192) using the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper (188) and ribbon from the Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack (page 15).
The inspiration for the Copper Tin originated with this card I designed as thank you cards.
I mounted a piece of Shimmery White cardstock onto the base of Thick Whisper White Card stock and using my Aqua Brush, I washed over a light shade of Coastal Cabana Ink.
The spots in the background were stamped with Coastal Cabana using the dotty impression Stamp from the Waterfront Stamp set.
I cut out the impressions from Gold Glimmer Paper with the Chase Your Dreams Framelits (page 216) and placed them over some strips cut from the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper, the top strip is a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock.
I embellished the card using some Black Solid Baker's Twine that I shredded a bit to thin it out and glued a few sequins around from the Metallics Assortment. (page 198)
I love these little Tins and have been looking forward to doing some fun and creative things with them.
I cut a 2" strip by 12" and glued it right around the tin using the Tea Room DSP and a thinner strip for the lid. The word Dream was adhered to a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock cut out from a Die from the Spot of Tea Framelits Dies (page 15).
I used the Tea Room Copper Vinyl Stickers (love them!) to finish & decorate the front.
The lid was decorated with a piece of Coastal Cabana cut from the Circle Framelits, the word wish was stamped with Versamark Ink using Follow Your Dreams Stamp Set then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I used a Vinyl Sticker to surround the word, glued down some feathers from Chase Your Dreams Framelits (page 216) and finished it off with a Faceted Gold Gem (197).
I couldn't help myself...I had to add a little surprise message on the inside of the lid! And a beautiful Vinyl butterfly sticker.
There are so many things you can put into these gorgeous Tea Tins..I have yummy Macaroons in this one, perfect as a gift for a friend.
So that's all from me!
I hope you found some inspiration from it. Enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop...
I'd love to hear your comments or questions.
Thank you for visiting,
take care, hugs
Sharni. x
