Merry Christmoose Fancy Fold

Hello lovelies,

how are you all going? Who's got their Christmas Mojo on? I won't lie to you, it took me a little while to find mine. But now that I am getting more into the spirit, things are definitely looking brighter and I have found by sharing, caring, wrapping gifts and making cards, my mojo and excitement has increased.

Today I wanted to perhaps help you with your Christmas Mojo by sharing with you a special card I recently made.

You may recognise the Merry Moose Stamp Set - this is the cutest set, I have used it often over the last two years and the moose punch gives you a quick and easy result.

I will take you through the card step by step...this is how it is with the belly band holding it closed.

The belly band slides easily off...

...to enable you to open the card and recieve a lovely surprise.

This shutter card was made using Pool Party and Crumb Cake Cardstock. The white stamping wass embossed and the other images were stamped using Soft Suede.

This is a fun card to make and even nicer to receive. The original card I designed with a full tutorial is from the September Dimensionals Bundle collection. Here is a picture of the original card. As you can see, the basic principle is the same, just different paper, cardstock and stamps. Plus, I used a ribbon the seal this card closed not a belly band.

Anyway, making this card brought out the Christmas spirit in me and motivated me to get on with other Christmas things like setting and decorating the dining table ready for guests this weekend, shopping and wrapping more gifts for the tree, posting long overdue gifts and cards this morning (hopeful they will make it on time!!).

When I am working in my garden, Charlie often accompanies me, she often sits in her box on the quad bike, but being a super hot day, I placed her out of the sun and onto a cool patch of grass...on a sheet so she didn't get itchy of course!
