What's Miss Maple and her Miniature World all about? Well, let me tell you all about her...
...she creates these miniature llifestlye scenes so cute and so tiny that you can hang them on the wall to enjoy. (Some projects are designed to be displayed on a flat surface if you prefere).
She thinks up dreamy rooms or spaces that if you were tiny enough, you may even want to spend a little time there! Sometimes she designs rooms or vignettes that reflect true life such as a bathroom or a kitchen and othertimes she thinks up magical spaces or Vignettes that one can escape to and dream about.
Each project or kit is limited in numbers and tends not to be repeated. They are all unique and original designs, created in such a way that you can make your miniature world easily at home or in class (at The Maples, Adelaide Hills, South Australia), with my help or by watching the video tutorial that is always provided.
Everything is included in your kit (sometimes you may need your own paint or other items that I list for you).
As mentioned, most designes can be hung on your wall, each one may vary in overall size, some fit into a frame, others fit into an open wooden box or something else! Each project does have a completed size given, so it may help you decide if this one is for you.
Some projects are definitely a little more fiddly than others, some can be compled in a matter of hours, others may take a day or more. Tweezers are a must! And sometimes a little patience!
Miss Maple always encourages her class to use their own style and creativity when working on their projects (she loves to see what they come up with)!
UPCOMING PROJECTS
There are currently 3 new projects designed for 2025, and still a few spots avaible for all of them. 'Take Out' (make at home kits) are avaible for those who can not make it to class. (If the class size capacity at The Maples is full, then you are welcome to order a take out kit with a video to help you along the way).
Boho Kitchen (photo to come)- 16th February, 2025 10-2pm, $128 plus post. (Take out kits now ony available with a full video tutorial). Frame $10 extra if pick up, if kit is posted, you will need to source your own frame - details from me. This fits into a 10-1/2"x 10-1/2" (26.5cm x26.5cm) Frame.
The Bathroom - 23rd March, 2025 10am to 2pm, $120 plus post. (Take out kits now ony available with a full video tutorial). Frame $10 extra if pick up, if kit is posted, you will need to source your own frame - details from me. This fits into a 10-1/2"x 10-1/2" (26.5cm x26.5cm) Frame.
The Loo - $60 post $16. Take out kits only available with a video - fast and easy to create, fits into a 6x6" (16.5 x 16.5cm) frame that is included.
You may not always be able to complete your project in one sitting during an in house class at The Maples, I encourage my class members to pick up their kits early (when possible) so they can make a start on it, watch the video and come to class with an idea of what to do and maybe have preped bits of their project ie: painting etc.
These kits have provided many with so much joy and we believe it also brings out that inner child and such happiness!
There will be more to come...Miss Maple has been dreaming up and started a few more projects for the future, but who knows when?
Some kits are smaller in numbers than others due to supply availablity and can book out very fast, if you are keen, please don't leave it too long to save disappointment of missing out.
