This month we are focusing on the Forever Greenery Suite.
It's been a while since I have posted anything, and I have missed that. There have been a few reasons for this...a big one was I have been working super hard getting my Annual Catalogue Launch Party Ready and yes I will post all about it very soon. The second reason was one of my favourite Aunties passed away quite recently and it's been a difficult time for me. She use to attend many of my card classes at The Maples and truly enjoyed her time creating her cards, chatting and sipping tea. I saw her quite frequently and loved our catch ups. She will be missed dearly. Rest peacefully Auntie Lee. xx

Forever Fern is a beautiful suite and it caught my eye as soon as I saw it in the catalogue. I love the choices of foliage and the colours as well as all the coordinating dies and stamps. You can even cut out some images from the Designer Series Paper with the dies.
This month instead of making one card three ways, I decided to create something a little different and quite sweet. I have decorated the front of an Acetate Card Box (3 1/8" x 3 1/8") then filled it with 3 little gift cards.
The cards are 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" (scored in half at 2 3/4"). I covered each one with a piece of DSP (Designer Series Paper) and a little sentiment that was stamped on Pretty Peacock and embossed with White Embossing Powder.
The cover of the box is some stamped images from Forever Fern using Bermuda Bay, Garden Green & Pretty Peacock. I cut them all out with the dies and placed them over the top of a Gold Hoop. Then tied it all of with some gold thread.
The matting underneath is Pretty Peacock Cardstock.
When I get some more time, I will most likely create a few more cards to go inside the box and it will be ready to gift to someone special.
I enjoyed creating this little gift and it can keep on giving with all those little cards ready to go!
