Let's Go Shopping - a Multi Story Monochromatic Card

Hello lovelies,

I have returned from my Incentive Trip Cruise in wonderful Norway! I would love to share with you some photos of the trip and my experiences during my first ever Incentive Trip. But, not in this blog! Lol. I hope to do that very soon.

Today I wanted to share with you the Let's Go Sopping Suite and what I have created with it so far.

When I returned home from overseas (I was away a month - all of May), I was thrilled to see my order from the new Annual Catalogue had arrived and had been patiently waiting for me.

I was like a kid on Christmas morning, it was hard to decide what to open and play with first!

The Let's Go Shopping Suite was on the top of my list. I did not, however know I was going to create a monochromatic 3D style card until I started to try out the stamps, dies and Designer Series Paper.

I stamped and die cut the images out 3 times and layered them on top of each other using Foam Adhesive Strips. They are the perfect size and have a thicker foam than Dimensionals so the images are raised a little higher.

The stamps include a ground floor and upstairs image of a shopfront that you can add different scenes in the window. This card I have added a table and chairs so it can become like a cafe at a bakery.

Note the tiny cute light fittings attached from the ceiling.

I do not often stamp inside the card, but I wanted to continue theme once you open the card. I have hand drawn the dots & dashes on the inside & outside t create a boarder around the edge. I used Pebble Path Ink (a new In Colour) to stamp the images & the Stampin' Marker to draw.

(You can get the 2023-2025 In Colour Stampin' Markers as a collection of 5, page 125 in the Catalogue).

I added the lamp post & some greenery using the Dies that come with the Bundle.

My second card was designed on a Slimline card (see measurements for that & an envelope at the end of the blog). I matted the layer one with Pebbled Path Cardstock & this time Die cut the images with the same cardstock.

I like the Pebbled Path die cuts matching the inked images more than my first card. Since the slimline envelopes have retired, I decide to create my own. The best part about this was I can use up any 12 x 12" Designer Series Paper that I no longer need. (each envelope uses one sheet).

You may notice the bird & different foliage on this card that is not from the Shopfront Bundle. That is because I discovered some great images from the Lazy Days Bundle that can be added to these fun street scenes.

I added the birthday sentiments to the top of the shops instead of the name of the shops - they are both from the Lazy Days Stamps.

I have really enjoyed creating these cards and will absolutely be creating more! You can see how I made this card on my Facebook Live I did last evening.

If you are interested how I made my card and matching slimline envelope, the measurements are below.

Well, that's all for now, thanks so much for visiting. I wish you a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Sharni. x
