Sharni's Angels Team Spring Luncheon Party

Hello lovelies, this is a very special blog about my beautiful team and our gathering we had this month.

The theme was the colour purple! There are a couple of reasons for this...first because it's spring and my garden is now FULL of purple flowers and will continue up until Christmas - Wisteria, Petunias, daisies, Clematis, blossoms, Irises, and more that I can't think of right now. Second is because I had decided to use the Gorgeous Posey Card Kit as party of our crafting for the day.

These are the cards I made up for my lovely team as a part of their thank you gifts.

Here is part of my team that could make it on the day, we started our event with lunch. Everyone dressed up in shades of purple!

I covered some notepads with all the different shades of purple cardstock and added the initial of each person to the front cover.

The table was set ready to go as purple as I could manage.

I had a Bone Folder engraved for everyone and gift bagged them up with some ELEGANT FACETED GEMS.

(I get my Bone folders laser engraved by a lovely friend in Queensland - Courtenay Heuston)

Just because I like to totally spoil my Angels Team...I also gave them all one of the new STAMPIN’ UP! BLACK TUMBLERs - you can only purchase as a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator.

The tag was stamped using the A GRAND KID CLING STAMP SET.

These tumblers are so cool, they even come with a metal straw, I had to get one for myself too!

After lunch a few raffle prizes, we gathered for a team photo...but poor Linda is not int he photo! (I used the timer on my phone and it was soooo bright in the conservatory that I couldn't see she was missing!

Lucky I had another picture of Linda...she was fortunate to win the Maple & Oak Raffle! Proceeds went to Proceeds go to SA Street Smart (for kids).

The prize is the super cute 3 Dimensional Advent Calendar (fully constructed), packet of Lindt Chocolates, 12 sheets of Real Red Cardstock, 12 sheets of Whisper White Cardstock, one Christmas stamp set- Snowflake Sentiments (wood mount) and a sweet tag kit. (Includes stamps, 2 mini ink pads, tags & twine.

Valued at $152.

After lunch we retired to the craft room and created a fancy fold card that I designed as part of The Dimensionals Team Tutorial Bundles. This card was based on the October Auto Pull Tab Card - originally I used the Way to Goat stamp set, this time we used the Free as a Bird stamp set.

I have to say it was a funny class...I think everyone had fun and there was a lot of laughter as some creations needed a little 'tweaking!'

The ladies did a fabulous job with their cards and I was very impressed. Melinda & Michelle were super excited to have finished!! lol

I didn't have photos of the purple card but here is a similar version of one I created earlier.

I embellished it a little heavier than the ones we made on the day and stamped the background onto the cardstock.
