The theme this February is creations from the Happiness Blooms Memories and More card kit. You get ......

I have decided to create a collection of cards mostly using the Night of Navy card bases provided (that's why they are there!) and adding a little twist of my own to the designs.
Being an animal lover, I couldn't resist popping in a little furry critter here and there. The colours are so amazingly bright and out there that these cards lends themselves to birthday and other celebration type cards.
I used the Happiness Blooms Memories and More kit as my base to every card I have created and just built on that. I added any birthday greeting I wanted and my favorite animals. ( Bella & Friends Stamp Set)
I think you can have a lot of fun with these crazy colours and designs. Here I have used the Stitched Rectangle Framelits to create a layered effect.
I think this shaker card is my fave! I popped some foam adhesives underneath the top of the card and filled the middle with flowers I punched from the matching Bitty Blooms Punch Pack and stuck a dot from the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots on the top of each one. The silver sequins are my own and the words actually came from the top card that I used.
Celebrate Your Day was embossed in White Embossing Powder onto Night of Navy.
I also had some fun with the smaller card kits and added some stickers that are included in the kit. Here I have fussy cut out the middle of this card front and added my own picture. ( Postcard Pals Clear-Mount Stamp Set) I think designs are endless and what we add to these fun kits is quite versatile.
My last card is a fun froggy one. (couldn't resist!) I only used a little strip of the card kit on the outside, and some more on the inside underneath the frog. The card base is Crumb Cake.
To show you a different way to use this card kit, being a hot summer here in Australia, I have been inspired by Sandi MacIver and created these super cute Mini Beach Bags! Her Tutorial video is so good, I didn't bother making one, the only difference is I used up the whole 4x6"sheet of paper instead of cutting it down. So no waist!
I filled mine with our favourite glue... as they are a little taller than Sandi's ( she put washi tape in hers).
These will become a fun gift to my regular Maple Stampers and door prizes for my Maples Getaway!
The tags are made from the small 1 3/4 x 7/8" Oval Punch and the Stickers from the Happiness Blooms Memories and More kit just stuck onto the top. The Orange ribbon is from the SAB ribbon offer now finished.
