3" x 3" Gift Flowering Fields Box

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are well? I have a little treat to share with you today, a cute little Gift Box. I wanted box that would hold a little gift for some of my Team Members- it was a prize during one our Zoom Catch ups.

Two lucky team members were drawn from my cup and won a CARDSTOCK SAMPLER PACK. It holds 53 colours in 3" x 3" (7.6 x 7.6 cm) squares all held together with a metal ring.

This new product can be exclusively purchased by Demonstrators (you will not find this in the online shop). One of the perks being a Demonstrator!!

I used Pool Party Cardstock that coordinated really well with the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Flowering Fields collection.

I used a piece of 3-1/4" square of Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (retired from SAB in December 2021), you can of course use any type of glimmer paper or foil.

The next layer (Flowering Fields DSP) was cut slightly smaller - 3" x 3" and glued over the top.

The box held the Cardstock Sampler Pack perfectly, and even had room for a bit more...so I added a few 3"X 3" card bases as an idea to crate some gift cards using the same Designer Series Paper.

I used Pool Party ink to stamp the sentiment on the front. This stamp set is a FREE product during Sale-a-Bration when you spend $180 or more in one order.

I have used this stamp set for so many occasions and will certainly be a keeper on my stamp shelf!

The embellishments ( Polished Dots) are also from the 2022 Jan/June Mini Catalogue.

This is a fast and simple project. To use up more DSP and with a little more time, you can always cover the whole box with matching papers. A lovely gift & keepsake for many occasions.

Measurements for the box are here:

Cardstock – 11" x 7-1/2″ (28 cm x 19 cm)

Score on the LONG side at 3 -1/2", 5-1/4", 8-3/4", 10-1/2″ (9 cm, 13.5 cm, 22.5 cm, 28 cm)

Score on the SHORT side at 1-3/4", 5-1/4", 7″ (4.5 cm, 13.5 cm, 18 cm)

Glimmer Paper – 3-1/4" x 3-1/4″ (8.5 cm x 8.5 cm)

DSP – 3" x 3″ (8 cm x 8 cm)

The completed box measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1-3/4″ (9 cm x 9 cmx 4.5 cm).

I found the tutorial for this box from Pootles and I was thrilled it held my gift perfectly!
