Grassy Grove and the Masking Technique

Hello lovelies,

Happy New Year!

I have created a very simple card using the Grassy Grove Stamp Set from the 2022 Jan/June Mini Catalogue.

I used Pumpkin Pie and Fresh Freesia ink pads and matched it with a piece of Heart & Home DSP. (Designer Series Paper)

Heart & Home DSP. I love that every sheet has a wooden background on it....soooo many ideas and uses for such a neutral base.

I stamped the deer first onto a 'post it note' and fussy cut around the shape. Then stamped the deer onto a die cut rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Then I laced the post it note deer over the top of the stamped deer and stamped some trees.

Once the post it note is removed, you have an image that makes the deer appear to be standing in front of the trees.

You may notice the Classic Matte Dots I have used to finish the card - there area 4 different colours in the pack (Black, White, Vanilla & Grey) I used the white ones.

SPECIAL MOMENTS - The sentiment is used is from a FREE stamp set with every $180 order. It is called Special Moments and I have used it many times already on other projects.
