Lovely Little Ladybug

Welcome lovelies to a very happy place today! I have just finished having a wonderful time playing with my new Little Ladybug Stamp Set from the 2020 Mini Catalogue. Aren't they the sweetest things?

I am going to show you how I created this card. First I added ink from my reinkers to some damp Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper using my Aqua Painter. I used a mix of Granny Apple Green, Pear Pizzazz, Balmy Blue & Marina Mist.

Once dry, I glued it to some Basic Black Cardstock.

I stamped all my images and cut them out ready for colouring. First I did the flowers. Using the Sponge Brayer, I applied So Saffron & Mango Melody to the flowers.

Then added some Terracotta Tile just to the tops of the flowers.

The stems and leaves were coloured with Pear Pizzazz & Shaded Spruce.

The ladybirds were coloured with Stampin' Blends...Poppy Parade, Smoky Slate, Ivory & Pumpkin Pie. I then went over them with Wink of Stella for that lovely sparkle.

You can also see I have added some stamens to the bottom flower, this is from the new Poppy Moments Dies.

The card was mounted on some Pear Pizzazz then Thick Whisper White.

So there you have it! A bright, happy card ready for someone special!
