Stamping Sunday Blog Hop You've Been Framed- August 2023

Hello lovelies,

I am Sharni Haines from South Australia. Welcome to our monthly Sunday Stamping Blog Hop. We get together every 3rd Sunday of the month. This month our theme is create a framed piece or create a frame on your card.

(Right now, as you read this I am currently on a long hall flight to Las Vegas for the Stampin'Up!® Leader's Backstage event. (Hopefully)!! I will be posting on my Face Book site for those interested in following what we get up to!).

So, because I LOVE fancy folds, 3D projects and anything off the page, I have a made an Interlock Double Concertina Card.

I must say, these long cards are never easy to photograph! I have made these before, but I think they are so much fun and you can use so many images on one card, (or not, just keep it simple).

I am using new products from the upcoming Mini Catalogue that will go live 6th September. I was so keen to try out all the images from the Festive & Fun Stamp Set - hence why I decided on this type of fold.

There are 5 animals in total in this stamp set, and all decked out for festive fun! I stamped the images in Pebbled Path Ink (my now new Black)!! lol

The 'Framed Theme' is pretty much on each page of the card with frames interlocking with the folds.

The gorgeous Designer Series Paper (DSP) you can see is called Merry Bold & Bright 2 x 12" - (and will be included in my Mini Catalogue Product Shares).

I have just shown you all the images inside the card - I did not colour them in very much because I thought the card was busy enough, especially with the bright Christmas trees - stamped in Granny Apple Green.

These beautifully simple trees are from another new set - Merriest Trees and it is offered as a bundle with Dies 10% off.

It is hard to decide which are my favourite new stamps & dies....I guess today these guys are!!

The front of the card was kept simple to add to the surprise inside. I stamped & embossed the sentiment with Black Embossing Powder & added a little bird from the Festive & Fun set.

Just look at this bright & Cheery Designer Paper!! I love that it doesn't need to be used a Christmas paper, most sheets have a non Christmas theme. (These papers will be included in my September - December 2023 Mini Catalogue Paper Share).

To cut out the rectangles, I used the Deckled Rectangles Dies (Annual Catalogue) which give a fun rough edge.

For those interested in what colours I used for the images, I have taken a photo. the pink Stampin' Blend is Melon Mambo.
