Scrapbooking Global December 2019 Blog Hop - Holiday Theme

Welcome lovelies to Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop for December 2019. This month's theme is very appropriately themed Holiday by the one and only amazing Sara Levin from the Design team!

I'm Sharni from Australia, you may have started here or just come from the talented Sherry Roth.

Here is the wonderful Sara, a big thank to her and Sharon Dalton who run this Blog Hop tirelessly every month.

I decided to use some photos from our holiday we had in the US July 2018. We were in LA for a few days before going to Yosemite National Park and took a stroll down Rodeo Drive and came across this cute photo booth set ou outside.

I used the Perennial Essence DSP and some In Colour 6x6" DSP to mount my photos. Every piece was sponged on the edges with Soft Suede and slightly distressed with my scissors.

I have run out of plain white 12x12" cardstock, so I used some other white paper from my stash. I sponged the cardstock with Melon Mambo ink and stamped images from Abstract Impressions, Artisan Textures and Fanciful Fragrance - all with Soft Suede.

The foliage was punched out using the Leaf & Sprig Punches.

The second page is basically the same design, I just used a little Rococo Rose as well as the Melon Mambo to sponge the background. The butterflies were from Butterfly Wishes & fussy cut out.

The flowers were punched out with the Daisy Punches using a mixture of colours. I added some Metallic Pearls about and also used some Pearlized Doilies underneath the flowers.
