Trucking Along - July 2023

Who likes to get organised for Christmas early? When our children were younger, I certainly did. My present shopping would have begun by now, I would have started planing the colour theme for the trees and gift wrapping...even probably begin searching for some delicious Christmas sweet treats recipes!

But what about cards? I do know many who start their Christmas cards mid year...and it's a fabulous idea. ( Just wish I was THAT organised)!

Well, my friends this time I plan to be.

This new Stamp & Punch Bundle just arrived yesterday and I was so excited to open it and have a play!

It is called Trucking Along. These are products that are availble through the online store only, you will not find them in the catalogue.

Even though this is a Christmas card, you could easily turn this design into a Birthday Card wit a different sentiment.

I did a live demonstration how I made this card on Face Book yesterday, you can view it HERE.

The layer one is Bubble Bath Cardstock, layer two is Basic White die cut from Deckled Triangles. The truck has been stamped with Coastal Cabana and Memento Black. I embossed the sentiment and gifts with Gold Embossing Powder and fussy cut them out. The gold trim is Simply Elegant Trim. The gold bling is Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins.

This is the first card I actually made. I stamped the truck image onto some Bubble Bath Cardstock twice. Then punched out with the Trucking Along Punch. I punched two tires and two tiny circles in grey with a small hand circle punch from my stash and Dimensionaled the trucks together.

I used the punch to punch out two wheel hubs in the Bubble Bath Cardstock and glued them over the wheels. The trees were stamped with Garden Green & Granny Apple Green, fussy cut and attached to the truck.

The black and white paper is from the Zoo Crew 12"x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP). I brushed on a little Balmy Blue Ink with a Blending Brush for the background.

I embossed the sentiment onto Basic Black with White Embossing Powder and hand cut around the sentiment. It is attached to the card with Dimensionals.

The layer one Basic White Cardstock was Embossed with Basic 3D Embossing Folder - Polka Dots. (There are no names for these 3 folders, but that is what I call it). lol
