Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Loaded Envelope- October 2021

Updated: Nov 7, 2021

Hello lovelies,

I am Sharni Haines from Australia, welcome to our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This month we are loading envelopes! Yes, that's correct, we are making pockets and filling them with happiness. This is quite the craze at the moment, and I am so excited to be actually making my very first one! There are no rules as to what and how you do it. There are a lot of different ways, I think personally, the technique and design is individual, but the out come is the same...to fill a personal hand made project with little messages, tags, bit and pieces and maybe even some gifts.

I think this is a really sweet idea.

You may have started here or come from the beautiful & artistic Dentia.

This is what I came up with - a 3 x pocket loaded envelope. There seems a lot to take in, but actually it's quite simple. I have stuck with two colours and a neutral. (Pool Party, Calypso Coral & Crumb Cake).

I have emptied the bottom two pockets and you can see, there is a tag (Basic White & DSP Pool Party colour - from Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper with a cute Bumble Bee &n Hello stamped on it). The middle pocket held a wrapped gift in polka dot DSP from You're a Peach and another tag cut out from Crumb Cake Cardstock.

All the tags were cut from Tailor Made Tags Dies.

The smallest pocket has a Basic White Daisy I punched from the Medium Daisy Punch and folded in half.

Inside the wrapping is some pretty bling - Petal Pink Rhinestones. I made a little tag at the top and decorated with some stamped envelopes from Kangaroo Company.

The Basic White Cardstock behind the DSP was Die cut from Scalloped Contours Dies. I just glued it to the back of the bag I made.

The top pocket was filled with more bling - Garden Gems from Eden's Garden suite which is being released November ( it's so lovely) and a gift wrapped Bone Folder.

The design for the Bone Folder (Chopstick Wrappers) is not my design, I found this from papercraftskies and here is the link to her video tutorial.

I decorated the Bone Folder holder with a sprig from the Sprig Punch and Calyspos Coral Cardstock and a little fox from Count on Me Stamp.

The tiny gold clips are from my retired stash.

I will show how I made this on a Face Book live tomorrow when I have more time and then I will post it here as a video tutorial.

You may notice the little bird singing a tune in a speech bubble - the bird is from Peek a Boo Farm and I hand drew the bubble. The sweet bee stamp is from Garden Wishes.

I really enjoyed making this project and have decided to give it away in a draw prize for my November customers! (Australian). With every order over $50, I will put your name into a draw to win this super cute Loaded Pocket with all the goodies inside. Yippee!

Well that's all from me for now, thanks so much for popping by enjoy your day and don't forget to keep hopping around to see what lovely projects everyone else has made.
