Hello lovelies, have you started on your Christmas cards yet? I am determined to make as many as I can this year BEFORE Christmas time as I never seem have enough. Today I'd like to share with you my latest design using the Dashing Deer and Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. But there is something new... White Velvet Paper!!! Yah!
It is impossible to tell from any photographs that this Dashing Deer is actually a bit fury. He has a soft texture that just makes me want to stroke his fur.
This White Velvet Paper is part of a new collection for a limited time, released to you on November 1st to the end of the month. It's called Snowflake Showcase and there is a lot more to share with you in this special bundle of goodies.
One other item I can show you today is the Snowflake Trinkets - there is one tied to the Basic Black Bakers Twine on the card.
The Snowflake Trinkets are so sweet and can be used to decorate your work or to add just that little something to finish a card. There are two styles in the pack and each one has a bit of bling in the center, to make your work a little bit more special.
Keep an eye out more sneak peeks from the Snowflake Showcase from me.
Back to my card....I have used White Embossing Powder with the
Beautiful Blizzard Stamp Set - I really love the font from this set. I think the white really shows up well on the Wood Textures DSP, very rustic and quite on trend for this year's Christmas style.
And a little tip when using any 6"x 6" DSP paper... to reduce any off cut waste, I like to cut my squares in half at 3"- this gives you two pieces to use on two cards.
This was a very quick but satisfying card to make...as many of you know I do have trouble making simple, quick but elegant cards.
These cards are my thank you cards for my customers all this month, so if you have placed an order with me or plan too - you can expect one of these lovely fury Dashing Deers. Plus, spend over $60 before post and you can also choose two Stampin' Blends as my thank you gift from me.
Products I used today...
Well that's all for now, thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoy your day!
