ESAD 2018 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

Hello lovelies & welcome! My name is Sharni and I live in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Today I'm excited to be part of an ESAD Blog Hop. We are showcasing new products from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue, which is now on sale. You may have just come from viewing Narelle Fasulo's wonderful creation.

There are so many beautiful things, I had trouble choosing which product I wanted to work with.

First Frost Bundle

After much thought, I decided to go with the First Frost Bundle and I think this is an elegant and quite versatile bundle to have and to own. I have seen many beautiful cards designed with this and I'm sure there will be many more. For me....this is a keeper!

This card is known in some circles as a Double Z Fold Pop Up...quite a mouthful hey? To me it reminds me of something out of a florist shop with all the foliage. If you notice, there isn't a single flower on this card, but it still appears very 'floral'.

The Petal Pink Cardstock has been stamped with Stitched All Around Stamp Set which I embossed in gold and cut out using the Stitched Labels Framelits Die.

The leaves were die cut from the FROSTED BOUQUET FRAMELITS DIES - I used Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, Whisper White & Petal Pink Cardstock. The fatter leaves were punched out with the Leaf Punch.

In the background, there are other leaves that I have stamped with Old Olive and die cut using the First Frost Bundle.

I have placed a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls here and there - I just LOVE them and find I use them a lot on my work.

When the card is opened you can see other die cut shapes from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies. I tied a little knot on the ends of these with the Braided Linen Trim.

All the stamped images on this card are embossed with the Gold Emboss Powder.

The ribbon tied to the front is the Powder Pink Mini Ruffled Ribbon.

A bird's eye view of the top of the card showing the multiple layers where I have placed all my 'foliage'.

I really enjoyed making and embellishing this card with all the layers and creating a shabby chic feminine feel to it. Is it totally over the top? Probably, but I think it could be a useful and pretty card for that special occasion....Wedding, Baby, Special Birthday etc.

As long as it makes someone smile, I'm happy!

Well that's all from me today, thanks for popping in. x
