Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop May 2022- Map

I'm Sharni Haines from South Australia and welcome to the Scrapbooking Global Design Team's monthly blog hop. Every month we have a new challenge or theme. You are more than welcome join us! You can find us on the Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! Facebook Group where we show and share our love of scrapbooking and have the monthly themes where you can join in the blog hop.

This month we are creating a page that includes a map, this seems quite appropriate for me because next month, I am planning to travel overseas with my my hubby and son Angus!

So there will be no photos yet, but at least I will be ready for when I return to Australia.

Here is our beautiful and incredibly talented Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Creative Team.

The brief was to include a map in your scrapbook page. I found a perfect picture of a map showing parts of Copenhagen in Denmark. This was my focus for the whole page design.

The perfect stamp & Die Bundles to use were the Tulip Fields & Flowering Tulips of course!

The Basic White 12" x 12" Cardstock was matted with a piece of Sahara Sand that I trimmed down to 11-1/2" on all sides.

To be able to still see a lot of the map, I made a few frames using the Stitched Rectangular Dies which allowed the map images to peek through the centers.

I have created a few other rectangles ready for photos to be added later. Therese were matted with Sweet Sorbet Cardstock.

I made a collection of tulip flowers and leaves using the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. The leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzazz Ink onto Pear Pizzazz Cardstock. The windmill & bikes are Sahara Sand Cardstock.

I die cut the word Denmark from the Playful Alphabet Dies that are just retired from the old Catalogue.

Now I all need to do is take some fabulous photos!
