welcome to our monthly Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. Well it's the last month of the year....and what a year!!! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a chance to perhaps catch up with family in real life, over the phone or zoom! However we do it, it's important and special to keep in touch.
We have something really special to share with you this hop...a sneaky peak at what's in next year's Sale- A- Bration freebees!! BEGINNER CARD
I have created a card and designed it 3 different ways....
1. The first way is designed for the Beginner, or what I like to also think of as simple & quick stamping. For those who like clean, simple and quick cards using very a little amount of product.
I am always drawn to the animal stamps, they always seem to catch my eye first! This cutie is from the Darling Donkeys - it's FREE when you spend $90 in one order. This is a super easy and quick card to make. I used Early Espresso to stamp the image and sentiment. The image was cut out, coloured in with Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate, Ivory, Real Red & Granny Green) and stuck it to the card with Dimensionals.
I sponged on a little Bermuda Bay to 'earth' the figure.
CASUAL STAMPER
2. Second is designed for the Casual Stamper who has a little more time, more products and likes to try out and use some different techniques.
This card showcases another FREE product - Oh So Ombre 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper. There are 48 sheets, double sided, in 4 colours. Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green & Rococo Rose.
AVID STAMPER
3. Third is for the Avid Stamper who has the time, an extensive collection of products and a little more experience or likes a challenge!
For my third and final card for today I used the Playful Alphabet Dies to allow the designer Paper to show through with a pop of colour.
I added a second donkey and a bit of Linen Thread. The stamp is from another new set called Handsomely Suited from the Mini Catalogue being released in January.
So there you have it, my first play with the Donkey's and the DSP! I am hoping to try out all my new products over the holidays and have a bit of fun. Keep an eye out for more designs and ideas soon.
