Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Mini /SAB Sneak Peek- December 2021

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are feeling well and are having had a wonderful time over the festive season celebrating Christmas with your family and loved ones?

This is our last hop for 2021, and I am really excited with what I have to share with you today. We are giving you a little sneak peak of what's in the new 2022 Jan/June Mini Catalogue and some of the FREE products you can earn during Sale-A-Bration in Jan/Feb 2022.

(We can not show you what's inside the catalogues, but if you are a current customer, you may have already received your free copy from me). Or you can contact me for yours.

The catalogues go live January 4, 2022.

Enough said, take a look at my first project...

I am an avid gardener as many of you already know. So it wasn't hard to choose this HOME & GARDEN BUNDLE as my first project. It's on page 72 of the Mini Catty.

The card sets the scene for a typical garden wall storing all your essential tools. I tried to use only this one bundle, but did add a little greenery from the Flowers of Home Dies (page 40 - Mini Catty). They were cut out with Old Olive Cardstock.

The background DSP is from the In Good Taste papers. I ripped a bit of Crumbcake Cardstock and inked the edges to create an earthy base against the garden wall. You can see the cute Pebbles place about the die cut grass.

The spades were made from Silver Foil and handles - Crumbcake, stamped with Soft Suede ink.

You may notice the details like the black hooks on the embossed wooden beams that hold the tools. These are all from the Home & Garden Bundle. The sentiment has been cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

These are two of the new products I used on my card - Pebbles Enamel Shapes & Brushed Brass Butterflies.

This card is perfect for either gender, and obviously for those who like to potter in the garden!

My second project is not quite a 3D ...but still a little more than just an average card! I wanted to create a garden shed full of tools. I used the plant pot die from Plentiful Plants Bundle in the Annual Catalogue to add some more character to this shed.

This fun, interactive card was so much fun to create! I cut out a shape from a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper just smaller than the card base, removed the two triangles from the top to create a roof and cut out a door. The shed was attached to the card with Foam Adhesive Strips. Before I attached it, I embossed a piece of Basic White with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (July-Dec Mini Catty), rubbed a little Grey Granite Ink over it with a Blending Brush and glued onto the card front.

The trimmings around the shed and door are just thin strips of Early Espresso. The details on the pot plants were hand drawn with a black marker, as were the silver parts of the tools.

The ladder has been made with two stamped and die cut pieces of Crumbcake. I attached them together with some Mini Dimensionals to create a 3D effect.

The front of the card is quite simple, the sentiment was stamped from a FREE stamp set available with every $180 order during Sale a Bration in January. It's packed with great sentiments and lovely fonts.
